Reidy Park Primary School is located in Mount Gambier, South Australia.
Reidy Park Primary School was established in 1878 and caters for students from Reception to Year 6.
Whether you have a long association with Reidy Park Primary School or whether this is your first contact with our school, we offer you a warm welcome.
High expectations are held for all students at Reidy Park. The educational opportunities here are stimulating and challenging with an emphasis on literacy, numeracy and students developing the dispositions to be successful learners.
The school is proud of its commitment in providing a wide variety of programs and activities. Students have access to specialist STEM, Japanese and Physical Education lessons. Performing Arts is another focus area and students have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of activities including debating, choir, class performances, instrumental music lessons and a Year 5 & 6 production. Students also have excellent access to ICT resources to support their learning.
Staff at Reidy Park are committed to supporting all students’ wellbeing and learning needs and they work together in a purposeful and professional manner to plan and implement high quality teaching programs.
Our school motto of ‘Learning Together, Caring Together’ and the school values of Care, Courage and Respect are actively fostered in all aspects of school life and contribute to a positive and safe school environment. Collaboration, resilience and problem solving are skills that are actively developed in our students through class learning experiences and other initiatives such as student involvement in decision making and whole school wellbeing programs. Parent involvement in school activities is valued and our school enjoys and benefits from families supporting our programs and events.
The school has excellent facilities to support our students, including a well-resourced Library, Gymnasium, Performing Arts Centre and well-maintained school grounds.

Reidy Park Primary School is a vibrant learning community, focused on empowering and challenging individuals to pursue their personal best. We believe in fostering positive relationships to support creativity, personal growth and self-regulation, as we work to ensure students thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Students are valued and encouraged to succeed in becoming life-long learners.

Teachers have a student centered mindset, where differentiating for individual needs, collaborating with peers and being innovative in their teacher practice is central to all actions.
